Really, really surprises me. Would have thought the perfect game for him to get some more match minutes under his belt - plus provide the umphh he always does.

Also, guess he will not be too happy - i'm sure NB can harness that emotion positively - perhaps next week.
That said does surprise me - Jacob back is fine, but think I'd had Mason in - perhaps for Faiamu this week (though I rate Faiamus talent)

What Mason needs is game time under his belt thought he might have been picked to play in u20s tomorrow you could argue same about Lunt but neither are down to figure. No Tonks again either

i think its good that no player.....however senior they are...........doesn't have a guaranteed place in this side especially with the way the young un's are performing .......saying that though it does seem strange that Mase and Lunty haven't been able to force their way back yet.

Perhaps Mase is for compassionate reasons?

i heard nb wasnt overly impressed with maseys efforts at london trying to be tough at the wrong time with ball in hand and losing possession, instead of biding his time in a defensive act.

Interesting judgement by mr brown. I'd have given mason more game minutes and fiaalogo another weeks training , but hey that's why I sit in the stand....
