, for 3 of our disaloud trys I thought the ref was going to the screen, But he didnt rush and kept a good flow of the game, That guy deserves a bottle or 2

Got to agree thought he had a good game.
I honestly think though owen scored that try and wasn't held up, not from where i was stood.

If owen was deemed to have been held up over the line, should the ref have given a knock on against him when he threw the ball in the air celebrating?

a few years ago r horne took a bad knock in the tackle and released the ball due to being hurt and was deemed a knock on?

Leahy had a decent performance today, and kept very good control. Nice to see a ref actually talking to his line officials too.

Agree the ref had a good game, made a couple of mistakes but that is always going to happen.

As for Richie throwing the ball in the air, i would agree with you. If a player is injured and release the ball it is deemed a knock on, i would have expected it to be the same for celebrating......Unless all is forgiven in the act of scoring a try?

i thought owens looked a try, but hulls disalowed try was definitely the wrong decision, i could see the ball on the whitewash from the stand.

overall he had a good game but the touch jjudges were useless as always

Once the referee blows his whistle to stop play (i.e. to disallow the try and order the play the ball 10m out) it'd be harsh to give a knock-on in that situation. With an injury, the player will normally wait (if he's able) until the referee stops the clock before putting the ball down.

I think it was 5 in reality. I couldn't see any of them from where I was, but according to reports in the papers they all seemed to be fairly ruled out - nobody seems to be complaining from the Tigers camp.

Yeah i thinks thats right, the only one i'm not sure about is the one that was under the sticks in the first half the was ajudicated to have gone dead, couldnt see it myself 9to many people blocking my view) but a bloke i know who is always very objective about these things reckoned it was a try.
