Given all the conversations on different threads about who should play where in the team, lets have a look at everyones squad BUT give reasons for each players position you choose for next year yeah!!
there is no right or wrong, it is also not here to tear each others opinion to bits but a chance for each poster to put his own choice on record without ridicule!!

FB: Whiting.. i am old school and like a solid no frills fullback that is big, tall , strong and fearless RW fits the bill.
Wing: Calderwood .. i think when fit he is still as good as anyone in SL and would keep him.
Wing: Sharp .. just what the doctor ordered , fast strong and reads the game well.
Ctr: Briscoe .. maybe it is time for him to step in a bit and use that strength of his to put his wing in.
Ctr: Turner.. Think he will develop into a smashing player and a shoe in at centre, developing every game he plays and a fantastic attitude.
S/O : Horne.. still one of the stand out players in SL when fit , just been extremely unlucky recently.
S/H:.. Long.. Still the master but like Horne just unlucky this year., his lay off will have done him good ..
L/F:.. Fitz.. dont need to say why he is first on the team sheet.
S/R: .. Hame.. will turn into an FC legend i am convinced of it.
S/R: .. Tickle .. for obvious reasons.
Prop : .. Omeley .. dream team player this year , same next ..
Hooker : .. Berrigan .. without having to be the chief playmaker he can go back to doing what he does best.
prop : .. Fielden .. wish list of course

Houghton : another year as interchange with berrigan will make him a GB international.
Manu : get back to using him as an impact player from the bench and get him dangerous again.
Moa : the ultimate interchange prop.
Dowes : solid interchange.
Tansey : cover for halves / full back / centre.
Yeaman : cover for the centres.
Lynne: cover for the wings and to continue his apprentiship.
Kent : cover for the S/R and to continue his apprentiship.
Nicklas: cover to continue his apprentiship

Need list : 1 x another Centre. 1 x another prop 1 x another half

washbrook,lynne,green,cunningham,nicklas,kent,briscoe,a young halfback.
id let go cusack(overseas and very average),tuffour(cant get a look in),dowes(maybe worth another year but seems to be getting worse every year and goes through patches were hes good then very poor to often),radders(again maybe worth another year but looks nackerd as a player a 2 year deal would be very silly) ,burnett( hasnt progressed,penalty machine,younger potential in same position), id give calders a new 1 year deal seen as though hes better then the other out of contract wingers in super league and having him would allow briscoe to go in centres, gives us some needed experience in the backs and gives us depth and options.
id let dowes and radders go and would bring in lms and fielden with a young out and out halfback and that would improve the squad again.

1. Tansey- fairly safe under the high ball, has pace, good hands and chimes into the line well.
2. Sharp- out and out winger, with genuine pace and a good step.
3. Briscoe- strong, fast and time to make a him a .
4. Yeaman- powerfull player with strong defence, would be excellent partner for Lynne.
5. Lynne- has pace to burn as said above would be ideal to work Yeamo
6. Horne- Playmakers dream as running supporting half back.
7. Long- still has the brain and the kickin game, just lacks a little in pace but Horney makes up for that.
8. O'Meley- strong, direct and aggressive, must start to set game tempo.
9. Berro- would a start berro than rotate with Houghton after 20mins.
10. Moa- alot like O'Meley but younger, would like to see them start the game together.
11. Hame- Scary bloke, scary hand off, gives defences something to think about. just a really scary bloke not one to be messed with.
12. Tickle- has to be in there deadly with the boot, runs cracking lines.
13. Fitz- the guy is a machine and can see him being alot like menzies is for Bradford still playing into his late 30's

14. Houghton- cracking interchange with Berro, Future international hooker
15. Whiting- cant leave him out of the side, Mr dependable
16. Dowes/New prop- every side need a grafter and Dowsey is that, if he stays if not new prop.
17. Manu- has to comes of the bench to run at the tiring defences.

A powerfull pack to bash the opposition, pace and power out wide and with the guile of Longy and horney running off him and Tansey chiming into the line looks good to me. Not a bad bench either impact from Manu and Houghton, with Dowes and whiting to interchange with tiring players.

Don't remember ogre coming off the bench much always starting I thought and he sets the tempo for us ,separate issue but we won't win anything till we get fit halves and I would be very surprised if horney and longy play half the games

1 or 2 props depending on Radford and Dowes.

Fielden and Hargreaves for those 2 would be great business.
