| Quote Back to square one then, both clubs backing their own plans'"
Not really, we've secured the land, have planning permission (not sure if it's just outline), architects have been appointed and we've already done the groundwork & other areas.
Cas have put a considerable amount of cash into this project and I'm sure they're determined to get the stadium built asap. The council don't seem to be bothered about both our situations so we'll just have to fight harder to secure the shortfall in funding privately.

| Pretty much as expected.
Once again it contains no concrete dates or finite statements about secured funding?
This part puzzles me:
Quote Castleford Tigers has concerns over the feasibility of the Newmarket site, particularly the likelihood of planning permission being granted in time for the stadium to be completed to schedule.
The club is therefore surprised to learn that the feasibility study, which would conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of both potential sites (Glasshoughton and Newmarket), will no longer be undertaken.'"
Why the need to comment on Newmarket?
Also:
Quote With planning consent already secure,'"
Outline Planning and you better get a move on or that too will expire!
Good luck Castleford!

| The first part is a bit churlish, but I welcome the statement. Glasshoughton was always a no-go for me, and good luck to them. Whether or not they get it off the ground is irrelevant for Wakey, as far as I'm concerned, but it would be great to see them survive in a decent stadium.
Now everyone knows where they stand, and as we have already identified a short-term solution as the Newmarket project progresses, hopefully we can both survive in the top flight.
The only concern I have is that the RFL won't let us stay in on promises, and so our side has to get going with Newmarket.

| That statement seems to say even less than the one Ted read out on Sunday.
I've always said the only time I will believe either or both of these stadiums is going to be built is when I see it with my own eyes.

'"
So it seems,
Looks like Peter Box intercepted a Rodney Walker pass but did'nt have the legs to go the full length before Ted caught him from behind.
Rodney's picked up the loose ball and headed the other way while Richard Wright, who tried to get up in support of Box, now finds himself hamstrung and limping along.

In the post-match interview, Richard Wright blames the referee.
