The other day watching a Footie match on TV from Poland(Blame Lockdown)
And a piece of Wing flap from a light aircraft fell onto the side of the pitch, I'm 100% Certain that in the Early 1990s a Piece of ice from a Jet coming to land at Heathrow landed on the pitch of a London Crusaders game. Possibly being played at Hendon FC Ground. It may have been a Cup game against Wigan CHEERS

I remember it well, but it was at Chiswick not Hendon. Chiswick is on Heathrow landing flight path. Can’t remember who we were playing though.
