| I have on going debate with some on here who suggest every game Leeds play its a cup final for every other team - that is tripe.
Leeds lost on Saturday because they didn't play well enough - even their own players suggested as much.
Fans cannot expect the team to play at the same level every game. This is a competitive league and all teams will lose games through the year. Last season was exceptional and Leeds were unlucky to come up against Leicester and Ipswich in the same season.
Farke is not an expansive coach but he does win far more games than he loses and fans can either accept that or not. Much is said of Piroe's inclusion yet Joseph has hardly covered himself in glory when included. At least Piroe does score some goals.
Scoring goals was highlighted at the start of the season as an issue - this team needs 10-15 scoring opportunities to convert a goal. This will continue until Farke changes the way the team develops its attacking strategy.
Much is made of 3 games in 6 days - given the strength and depth of the squad Farke has available Leeds should be better placed than any side in the Championship to cope with this.
Will they get automatic promotion - not unless they find a way to convert the chances on a more regular basis and find a way of changing the approach when away from home.

| Yeah get shut. Very unprofessional of him and probably shows why he wasn't a success last year.. he's not got the right attitude. He could have asked for a transfer but still come along to pre season tour.. its only in Germany. I'd hold out for £15m+ with a big sell on clause.. or loan him out somewhere, where he'll score a fair few (Rangers anyone..).. then sell him for a lot more next year.. he's still got 3 years left. But, i do get it that Leeds really could do with raising some funds to get Muniz and Paixao in the here and now...
Interestingly, this now leaves us with only 2 strikers, 3 if we manage to get Muniz. Also from YEP, we don't seem to be in for a 10 now, but G Smith named a LW, 9 and a GK.... plus cover elsewhere (very probably fullback cover I would imagine)..

| the scum game saw a 4-3-3 and I'd expect longstaff, stach and ampedu in there. very solid.both wingers dropping in to make a midfield 5 when we don't have the ball. no real need for a no 10 in that system

| Yeah, can see us going 4-3-3. The front 3 will need to be damn good though if we're to score enough goals as that midfield doesn't have much of a goal threat in it.. probably Stach has the most in that 3, suppose you then have Tanaka..

| Burnley now interested in signing Wilson on a pay per play basis Leeds Live reporting we might be interested in Mehdi Taremi who has scored 260 goals for club and country. I reckon with him being 33 this might put us off but would certainly give us some experience up front, Sebastaan Bornauw injured quad could be out for the Everton game along with Bijol who is suspended.
