Any one else starting to think we took a cheap option with the coach again. We got off to a brilliant start but we have been poor for weeks. I can not see where the next win will come from. Eastmond seems to not have much clue of how to change this round. I think he needs some help quickly. Just dont no why we are not getting an established coach and why we gives these silly contracts to unproven coaches

KE might eventually be a good coach but at the moment he is showing his inexperience which is to be expected. As he says on his post match video, it is what it is. His team selection is baffling at times and be it stubbornness or whatever he needs to change summat because i personally cannot see where the next win is coming from. Up The Fax!

Just a thought but what happened to James Lowes ? we resembled his steeliness early season..was he replaced with Eastmond's own man..if so it hasnt worked.Maybe another cheap option ?

Lowes is still at the club he was on the pitch yesterday during the warm up. Is he being pushed out in favour of other coaches i don't know.


I was never happy when we gave Grix 3 year deals with him being unproven so the same goes for Kyle let's be honest it is a big risk. You either drop on a good one or you have made a cock up which you can't afford to do anything about.


It will be very interesting what Kyle is able to do squad wise for next year. He inherited this years squad of 20 players he as added a few new ones a couple of them look really good the others not good enough.

Most recent question marks have been Woody and LJ at 1 & 6 being the wrong way round and with limited resources when we need an out and out prop or 2 going for more like second type players and a third hooker?


As before no wins since April and it’s July before we play again with all the good early season start well and truly gone as has the numbers who had started to come and watch again.

If you look at the squad we have we did overachieve at the start of the season.
 
We still short of four or five high quality championship class players. The halves have not provided much threat. We are short of pace across the field  and injuries to the centres hit us hard. Alfie J looked to give us more pace but now he is injured too.


Come on give the coach a chance , he was best thing since sliced bread for first half dozen games now folks are up for blaming him for losses when everyone can see the basic errors the players keep making. Sure he is learning but who wants a fossil in charge unless it is Chris Anderson!


With the budget we have the club have done as well as could have been expected at this stage of the season.


Since i have stopped going to Fev and with the next game in London and family and holidays this is probably the longest period i have gone without seeing Fax play since 1966. Who ever thought up summer rugby......
